Downloading PSE 5.0 question

I recently purchased PSE 5.0 to replace my PSE 4.0. Do I install the 5.0 before I delete the 4.0, and will my photos in the browser automatically transfer? Thanx for any help!

You don't have to delete PSE4 at all if you don't want to. Some people keep the older versions as they may like the way the older version handles certain things better than the way the newer version may. The only thing to remember, though, is that you can only run one version at a time.

As for the catalog, if I remember correctly, PSE5 will search for previous catalogs as part of its install routine and will automatically import and convert it to the PSE5 format. As for your pictures, they are not moved and will remain wherever you have them.
