As long as I'm home sick today (second sick day in three years, yesterday was the first) I'm trying to catch up printing some of my photos for display. I'm using a Canon ip6700D printer. Usually I edit my photos and save them in .jpg to a file called "edited for printing" then I go in and use the Canon software to print them. The results are spot on most of the time.
Today I tried to print directly from PSE5 from edited RAW and PSD. I tried the 'same as source' profile and one of the other Canon ones. But the results were much too red. There is a selection of several Canon printer profiles to choose from. Which one works best?

If I understand your dilemma properly, I think you want to be using a paper profile that compliments your printer. I suspect this is why you are seeing RED.

Welcome to the wonderful, evil, complex and twisted world of color management.

From elements, suggest you use "Printer Color Management" and pick the paper type that corresponds to your paper.

IF THIS WORKS AND IT SHOULD, YOU WILL NO DOUBT BE DRAWN FURTHER INTO THE DARK SIDE, or not :)
