I want to copy some of my recent photos over to a CD. The only thing I want is the full size images copied on to a CD with no slide show or picture album. I must be missing something because I can't find where elements can do this simple task. In Windows I can use the copy and "write these files to CD" wizard . But it doesn't seem to work that way in Elements.

Check out the File Menu/"Copy/Move Offline" command in Photoshop Elements 5.0.

It is described in the program's Help as well as in several recent Threads in these Forums.

Yes, but if you read the prompt "Moving files deletes them from their original location but leaves a smaller proxy file in PSE". I don't want that. I just want to copy the full size files over to CD and give them to somebody. Deleting the files from their original location would defeat the purpose of what I'm trying to do.

If you don't check the Move box it just does what you want and copies them. It's a bit confusing - the words you quoted only apply if you check the box (I never have so I don't know what other warnings you might get if you do :))

I did not select the destination drive so the process did not go any further. After I highlighted my CD burner everything worked. All the photos copied to the disk. Thanks for the timely assistance.
