sort order of photos

I can't seem to change the sort order in collections. So, I changed all the collections to tags and now I can sort them. However, by using tags I can't move individual photos around like I was able to do in collections. It wasn't easy to turn all the collections into tags and it looks like I painted myself into a corner. Any help is appreciated. :confused: KDP

As far as I know, Collections can only be automatically sorted one way. If you right-click the collection thumbnail, you can pick an option to "Reorder yourcollectionname by date (Oldest first)". Otherwise, you have to drag the individual images into the order you want.

You are correct in your observation that you cannot re-order the images by dragging in Tag view.

Thank you Bryon. I tried a right click on a photo in collections and I don't see anything like you described. That doesn't mean it isn't there. But usually if given enough time I can see through a barb wire fence. I am running version 5.0.2 if that helps any. :confused: KDP

I don't mean to right-click on an individual photo -- I mean to right-click on the COLLECTION thumbnail in the palette.

Thanks again Byron. I got it this time. Too bad it doesn't give you all the sort options but I guess a half a loaf is better than none. KDP
