The weather has been incredibly rainy here in Houston of late. Not much chance to get outside at all. However, the flowers are loving it! Here's a passion flower from a friend's garden; I used a piece of black construction paper behind the flower to block out the distracting background (fence, house, etc.!) Note that there's an unidentified visitor on one of the petals on the right side...

Very nice Chuck!

Yes, the flowers are loving all this rain. I plan on taking advantage of the dry weekend and taking pictures of the flowers at our church .. they too have passion flowers that are just gorgeous among other blooms! Keep your fingers crossed that tomorrow stays dry so I can play!

Very well done Chuck. Colours are lovely as is the detail. We had our rain too but lately it has been hot hot hot. Luckily we are by the water and get a breeze while the others complain.

Chuck,

That is one spectacular shot! Just beautiful...and each time I look, I discover more. Glad the flowers near you are surviving. Mine are all rotting and drowning. I think those clouds have taken up permanent residence over my house. :(
