What software to use?

I have finally got together all of my various tapes and videos of camcorders past.

I'm wondering if I should attempt to transfer these to DVD myself, or let a lab do it?

I have Nero software, but was wondering if I should get Adobe if I attempt this. :?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you already haveNero I would do a test with that, maybe one tape to see if you like the results and if you do, go wtih what you have.

I dont use Nero so I am unfamiliar with what results you would get, but if you are just doing a straight transfer then the software shouldn't make a difference.

It's when you start editing the footage that software comes into play :)
