Help with adding fonts on PE 4 on the Mac

I've tried looking through the archive forums, but cannot find the answer to my question....

I have several fonts that show up in my Mac FontBook (and are used on my MS Word for Mac program), but those fonts do not show on on my drop down list in Elements. Is there a way to add them to my list?

I don't know why that happens it could be to do with the actual fonts themselves ... which ones are they and I will check if they show up on my system ..
