I did it!

Today I went and got my new camera. I ended up going with the Sony H7. Took a couple pictures when I got back to work and I must say that I love it. So much better than my other camera! Now I have to find the motivation to get through the rest of the day. I can't wait to get home and start really playing with it! Thanks to all who gave me advice! I'll post some pics after I've had a chance to play.

Laura, I have the H5, and have been pleased as punch with it. Got it a year ago. So I'm sure you're going to love the H7, as well. Can't wait to see some pictures! Congratulations!

Congrats on the new camera! Now you will lose sleep, obsess about photography, spend countless hours mumbling to yourself in front of your computer, and fill your hard drive with huge files. No wait...that's me...

I bought my wife a new digital point-and-shoot before our trip to Crete and she's gone crazy with it. I like that because now I don't have to apologize for my photo addiction!

Thanks guys! I haven't done as much as I've wanted to with my photography so hopefully I'll be able to devote more time to it. I told my dh that now that our ds is 3 and constantly on the move I needed something that could capture all his precious moments. It worked! You know what they say, if momma ain't happy, nobody's happy! :D We're going to the zoo tomorrow so I'll have lots of material to capture!

Mario - I've been doing that since I got PSE a couple years ago... now I'll become even more obsessed. I wonder if my son will remember my face without the camera in front of it :rolleyes::rolleyes:
