Saving videos from subscriber area with QTP

Hi! I'm the Newbie that was having problems saving the videos with QTP. Although several people tried to help me out, we were unable to solve the problem. I got on the Quick Time support forum and after 11 threads, we found the problem. Here is the solution for anyone that is having the same problems and FYI for those that helped me out. (Thank you :D)

Quick Time reply: Then the problem is actually a setting on your computer.
Open QuickTime
Edit menu / Preferences / QuickTime Preferences...
Under the Browser tab remove the check mark for "Enable kiosk mode"
Quit and relaunch your browser and visit the pages again.
You've inadvertently enable kiosk mode and that will hide that part of the controller.

Glad you got it to work and good to see that the Quicktime forum is as responsive as this one (but knows a lot more about Quicktime :)). I checked mine and of course I have no check mark in the box. I can't remember ever being in those preferences before so maybe I was just lucky :)

I was never in that neck of the woods either, but maybe it came downloaded that way (way back when). I don't know. Or maybe it checked itself off when I did the upgrade to Pro. Who knows? I just assumed I was doing something wrong. The mysteries of our computers and their software ...

Thanxs for the info. Just checked my settings, can't remember ever being there, but checked non the less. All is well.
