Is it possible to disconnect the organizer? It waists too uch time for my type of usage.

Yes it is possible to remove the organiser but if you do that then you will also remove some of the functionality of Elements ...

There was some other action on this item today.
I use the organizer extensively (except for version sets), but if you want check here (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?p=275754#post275754) to disable the organizer passively. If tt doesnt start up, it wont do anything and that is lot safer than hacking into elements.

John, that's funny - I use the Organizer very sparingly; the only thing I use extensively is......version sets!

Hmmn. . .
Interesting isn't it. One of the things I like in software is when it lets users use it "their way" and doesn't dictate their lifestyles, eating habits and impose a dress code.
Most users only use a small portion of the cababilities of any software.
Elements lets you use what you want - kind of like Burger King (or Harvey's in Canada).
