Hi Norma,

I love the photo of the parrots that is new in your gallery. It's so great and that technique is just perfect for the birds!

That is a wonderful shot! It reminds me of some parrot behavior in the movie "Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill". They were filmed doing something that looked similar and it turns out it was a parent feeding a juvenile.

Norma,

That's one of the most striking selective coloring effects I've seen. Great job and love the parrots' cute pose.

Sorry I'm late in replying but I have company so I haven't been on the past 2 days. Gosh, I just noticed this morning that my picture was in there! I was shocked! I wasn't going to put it in my gallery actually figuring it was just another selecting coloring technique...you know dime a dozen but I figured what the heck.

Thanks for all the compliments! I took lots of shots of them at Busch Gardens (Michelle remember??) and that was a cute shot! Don't know if they are smooching, guy and girl or something else. But I thought the coloring would look great on a b/w background and it would really pop!

Thanks again everyone! It's not too often I put things in my gallery...it's still a learning experience for me.
