Thank you all for the nice comments. I used Buzz Simplifier, which was a free plug in that I got in a magazine a while back. Here's another photo using it.

Another embarrassing question: What is a "plug"? And how can I get one?:D Does it hurt?

Hi Sela,
Hope I can explain this. A plug-in is a special effect or editing tool that can be added to Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. They go under the filter menu. There are all different kinds, some free and some purchased. And, no, it doesn't hurt.:p
Thanks to everyone for all the compliments. The folks on this forum are the best.

Cute picture! And I still love your image of the Baltimore Harbor. I've been there many times since my brother lives in Ellicott City.

That is so nicely done Anita. Worth a frame. I got four today at yard sales, one a 24.99 frame still in the box for $3.00. I don't get upset with my husband for stopping at yard sales to look for music anymore!!!

I'm going to add my voice to the chorus of how lovely that picture is. I've been avidly reading through the messages hoping the technique would be explained, but I haven't got as far as 'understanding' plug-ins yet, so much to learn.
Super picture, Anita,
Lisa :)

I love the picture. If you ever figure out where you found the buzz filter for free then if you wouldn't mind, please post it here. It's a wonderful filter.

Lisa, thank you so much. Michelle, I got the Buzz filter from a British camera magazine(Digital Camera Magazine) that I picked up at Borders Bookstore several months ago. I know it can be purchased online, but I don't know anywhere that has it for free. Thanks again to both of you for taking the time to comment on my photos.

Here (I think) is the site for the buzz filter. They used to have a free 30 item trial download because that is what I am working on. I really like the filter and when the trial is done I might buy.

Shari: Thank you so much for the link. I downloaded it but now can't remember where it was supposed to go so that I can use it in PSE 5.0. Was I supposed to put it into the plug ins? Please help me.
Thanks.

Michelle I don't use PSE5 anymore but as I recall it was in plugins. I remember there was a place on the site that explained where it went. Are you finding the free download? When I looked it appeared the site had changed a bit and I could not find the free downloads. Maybe just me - hope so.

Shari: Thank you, that is exactly where it was supposed to go. I knew it was simple, just couldn't remember how simple. Thanks again.
