I work downtown Albuquerque, a block from this. This time of year the Rio Grande isn't so "grande" -- very low on water. Natural sources of water are scarce.

Ok, here's mine. Not cropped, adjusted levels, color, sharpen, that's all.
I think I will put some of the others up in my gallery later.
Went home after work & grabbed the camera & went down to the beach...

Thomas this is not a challenge -- it is a photo shoot assignment. We'll have a topic each week and a full week to get the best photo we can.
See Just for Fun Thread thread for more info and instructions.

Been waiting for the sun to shine at the right time to catch the rainbow at the fountain in the local park. It worked at 8.30 this morning:

Taken with a Fuji F7000, somewhat underexposed at 1/1250, f3, ISO 200 to enhance the rainbow.

The Beaver River which runs through our town. This was taken on a very foggy morning. Unfortunately the fog didn't come through as well as I'd hoped. I used an underwater filter set at 42% to help enhance it a bit.

It's been a dry summer so I used a water wand to stream the water -- this is where my wife helped. She held the water wand while I took the photo.

Well considering this is due tomorrow i decided to go ahead and go with the pic I took last Sunday on the first day of the challenge. It is in fact a place I frequent often as it seems to be the last of the peaceful areas. It's a pic of the remnants of the historic Erie canal;

I call this one reflections in a drop of rain. I was trying for something else but this appeared in the viewfinder and I liked it.

OK, I'll try again and hope this is reflections in a drop of rain. The other one was taken yesterday. I just loved the light/shadow play. Does water in clouds count?

Well clouds are technically water vapor so it is a form of water and we left that entirely open to interpretation and photographers efforts to capture a water shot.
