I'm happy to say that 40 year old wooden toys haven't lost appeal :)

If any of you remember, the circus has paste-on paper details. And... Huffy Puffy is as much fun as Thomas! :D :D

Rusty,
love the montage.
Toys don't need to be high tech if the kiddy has imagination.

You're right about Fisher Price! Our kids grew up with Fisher Price and Legos, and never lacked for fun. Oh, and when they got a little older, they played with their Dad's old Erector Set, which fascinated them no end.
Your montage is delightful! As you can see, it took me down Memory Lane!

Great layout Rusty :)
You guys must be having lots of fun!
You can't beat the old toys, for one they last longer (physically) and for another they are timeless. Character toys often are outdated by the time the next Christmas arrives

And...
The noises they make are completely mechanical,
No chips or batteries,
Imagination is required,
Very difficult to break,
...the list goes on.
The second day he was here, he came downstairs and made a beeline for the toy box exclaiming, over and over, "Where's Huffy Puffy, Where's Huffy Puffy...?"
Thanks to all for the kind comments :)
