All our friends in the UK - please stay safe and be on guard. It appears you are the current targets of this madness with the two cars discovered yesterday and now the car in Glasgow today. I'm afraid to think where this will all end. My thoughts and prayers are with you Wendy, Kev, Bayla and all others in the UK.

I am always amazed when I see where many of the forum members live. With our common interests, I usually think we are all from the same geographic location until I look to see where the person is from, and then I think, "Wow. How cool!". This (the forum) seems like a neighborhood, and I guess it really is.

No matter how it is explained to me, I just can't understand the mindset of some people and the hatred they carry around.

With Nancy, I also hope and pray for the safety of our British "neighbors", as well as our friends here in the U.S. and those scattered across the globe.

Thank you so much for thining of us. I have to go thought London on the 15th and 19th. I feel sorry for all the people with flooding. Work is still going on after the Folkestone earthquake on April 28th.

Thanks to all our friends on the forum for their concern in this dangerous time.
I can't understand these fanatics but I'm afraid that our laws say they must be treated with full regard to their civil rights. The people at Glasgow were all for lynching the terrorists and who can blame them.

Thanxs Nancy for starting this thread...

It is such a shame that they are people in this world that are hell bent on destruction and the taking of human lives. I agree with you all as to where any of this will end. It seems there has always been conflict somewhere all of the time.... Will we ever learn to live peacefully or is it just wishful thinking. Prayers and well wishes to all that are " across the pond " ( Kev's phrase )

Take care, my friends.... Sending Hugs:)

I would like to add my prayers too. My daughter and her family were stationed in England for several years (youngest grandson was born there.) They enjoyed their stay so much and made many lasting friendships. I know how worried they always are for their dear friends. Bless all of you and stay safe.

Just want to add my well-wishes to all of you to stay safe. We are thinking of you. Thank you for all you do for this forum ... just a small corner of the world, but a wonderful way to demonstrate how we can be friends, no matter how far apart we live. I know technology has its down-side, but when it brings together so many great people from around the world in one location, it makes me smile.

I hope everyone is safe also. It is sad times when you have to watch out for terrorist when we go out and about. Can't live our lives in fear, but yet when we take our familes out to ballgames or any other function the thought of someone harming our loved ones seems to be in the back of our minds to stay on alert. How sad:(
