Today seems like a day for adding scrap pages! So many beauties I saw out there.
Thought I would share one....
Have done a few pages before but this is the first time I attempted to make everything myself with standard pse (and some downloaded brushes). It was a bit scary! :) The large photo was from Theme 87 last week...
I did it mostly for my mom and I'm hoping she'll like it...

Simone: That is really a wonderful page beginning with the pictures and ending with the elements you created. Your mother is bound to be pleased with it. Now, if I were doing a page about my childhood piano, I would have to represent it as an instrument of torture. We didn't get along as well as you and your piano obviously did! :D:D:D

thanks so much for looking, and for the kind comments. i too hope mom likes it, she's kept this unused piano in her house for so many years. it's interesting how people's experiences with childhood "music lessons" differ! enjoyed reading the replies.:)
it was rewarding to make all the items, but as you scrappers know it does take time... you keep tweakin' and tweakin' and eventually just have to say 'stop'! :) but i think next time it'll go a bit faster since now i've taken the plunge and done it once. i might be askin' some questions down the road...
--> i think i've joined lots of you as i have truly discovered the fun of brushes and i think i'm becoming a brushaholic! i hope there's not a limit to how many new ones you can load up on! ;)

That is just beautiful! I love the color and simplicity - it is so much more effective that way.

That's a beautiful page! It does elicit memories; it's so effective! I wish I had a picture of our old piano, that definitely makes a nice memory.
