As we know JPEG has a lot of good points, but with regard to the Lossy area, just how does that work. I have been on the road for a while, and have taken a lot of photos, which as still on my compact flash media. When I get home I will put them into the organizer in PSE 5. I would like to look at some of them now in Windows picture viewer, and wonder how this will affect the quality of the photos?
In advance, thanks for your thoughts...your comments have always been on target.

hi Bob ...
Just opening and closing jpgs doesn't affect the images at all ... its only when you resave that any quality is lost.
Even then you would have to resave them quite a number of times before it made an appreciable difference :)
The occasional save isn't going to affect them :)
