I have not been around lately I had a sick spell. I hope everyone else is doing well here. This is my question. I purchased this plugin called site grinder to use with my photo elements 4.0. It is specifically for use with photo elements. I don't know how to install it into photoelements. i am supposed to be able to access it using the file selection directly in full edit. I have some other plugins and I do not know how to put these in either. I need some help please.

Hi Saundie

I had a quick peek at their site and coldn't figure out if it was a plugin or standalone. In some places it seemed like it was a plugin/filter type thing in others it seemed to be a standalone.
It looked like there were quite a few rules as to how it works, so there better be instructions.:)

Thank you for the reply's. There are instructions with it. Those instructions do not start with how to install a plugin into Photo Elements. The instructions are excellent for how to manage AFTER it is installed as a plug in. I am not able to figure out how to install it into the program Photo Elements. I hope I have explained this correctly.

Has anyone else ever purchased this program??

Thank You all for any help You can give me.

I'd suggest emailing their tech support - it sounds like they would be helpful:

Run the SiteGrinder installer. It will list all the Photoshop Plug-in folders it finds. If it does not find yours, then click the button below the list and browse to your Photoshop Elements plug-ins directory. Then continue the installation.

After installing, open up a .psd file in Elements. You'll find Photoshop under Elements "Automation Tools" menu.

Hope this helps,

Chris ...

This is a pretty old thread and I don't think that the original poster has been around for quite a while ...

Indeed. Sorry to have revived it.

I was referred to it by someone else and it never occurred to me it might be nearly 6 months old.

Hi. I am still around but I have been very ill for the past 4 months. I am
just now looking at the 1000 + emails I got since I was last here. I will be coming around more since I can sit up in bed and walk without so much pain. I am disabled.... have been for the past 6 years.
