Which button do I press????

I'm doing the layers course and he says "now press enter to save what you've done" I'm using Elements 5 and I can't for the life of me find a button to press that saves what I've done. Eg I've cropped a photo, now what?? I can't get rid of the box around the photo? Does that make sense?
Another little tiny thing. How do I use these cute little faces?

ferrous, to get rid of the box, press the enter key on your keyboard or click on the little green check mark at the bottom of the crop box. This activates the crop you made, but you still have to "save" your image to your hard disk to really save the new image, of course.

To use the smilies, you need to click "Post reply" at the bottom of the thread, then the smilies are to the right of the box you write into. Just put your cursor where you want the smiley, then click on the smiley you want to insert. Voilà!

There are also lots of them here (http://bestsmileys.com/pageindex.htm). Just copy the link to the left of the smiley and paste it into your text box. Give it a try!

As I remember, you have to go to your User CP and Edit Options in order to use them, but I can't remember which option controls them. Maybe under Miscellaneous Options at the bottom, change to Enhanced Interface?

It's a good idea for all new users to go to their User CP and check out all the options and set their preferences.

Hi ...

Its User CP>Edit Options and then scroll right down to the bottom to Message Editor Interface ... and change it to Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing
