How do you create lightning strikes for a collage?

Hi Linda,

There are a lot of brushes free for download out there online that make great lightning bolts. Just Google photoshop brush lightning. Any brush made for Photoshop usually work with Photoshop Elements.

When i download these where do I download them to and how to I get them to work.

Brushes go in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5.0\Presets\Brushes

Then just restart Elements and the brush set should show up in the options bar dropdown menu for the Brush tool.

There is a Dave Cross video tutorial in the subscriber section that shows how to make lightning. As I recall, no brushes were used (I may be wrong).

Dave Cross uses a neat effect to make lightening and its a very nice technique :)
