Hi Hal,

If you're talking about border breakout, or sometimes called OOB or out of bounds, here are some links to tutorials.

Hi Hal ..

If you look in the Subscriber Area>Videos then you will see one that Dave Cross did ..

Its called Border Breakout and its dated 26th August 2005 :)

Breakouts are a great way to get a special effect ...

Thanks for the links Diana :)
I've watched the video in the subscriber area and printed off the page from Myjanee. All I need now is to find a photo for my first trial of this great technique :)

Hi Denise ...

You can get some great effects with it ... here is one I did for Grants Challenge a couple of years ago:

Wendy that is really great.
I love how it breaks out at the top and bottom.
Love that idea.

Hamish, great images using the pop-out method. Very effective :)

If you do "save for web" and make the longest side of your picture 700 pixels they should be a good size for pixcentral.

Diana

I have always wondered how you people manage to always have the links to the different threads, as you have here Diana. I can never find the threads I know I have seen in the past, but people like you are able to post them in a moments notice.....how do you do that????

Do you bookmark them, or what....fill me in on your secret.:o
