Hi! Me again!

I have a very nice, high res picture of my toddler sitting in the grass. Everything looks great except the skin on her face looks almost pixellated. Her skin is perfect, but it looks almost like you can see lines or pixels in some places. Anyway to smooth it out?

As well, her lip is a little chapped. When I tried to heal or clone, it looked too matte and dry. Any ideas?

Thank you all for your help!

Cynthia

(Wasn't sure how best to show the picture. Hope this works: http://picasaweb.google.com/optingout/PhotoshopElementsHelp )

I'd welcome any other suggestions as well, of course :) I wanted to brighten her eyes, but that seemed difficult.

Hi Cynthia

It is just my opinion but I think you are seeing a small amount of noise. In the post below I applied some noise filtering to smooth it out. However…I do believe the noise will not be noticeable in a print even without correction.

Cynthia, I agree w/Butch, very little noise. Lovely little girl. I like both versions of the photo. Butch always does a great job editing photos and I like seeing his edited version. So now you have 2 great photos to choose from.:)
