I have taken a daylight photo of the exterior of a house and everything looks fine except the windows are very dark. I would like to make it look like the lights inside the house are on. Does anyone have any suggestions or is there a tutorial for this? Thanks.

Try using the marquee tool to select the windows and put the windows on their own layer; fill with an appropriate colour - you may need to lower the opacity to get the desired effect.

Hi ...
I use a different method to do mine a bit too involved for a couple of lines in the thread.
I will add it to my list of tutorials to write :)

Thanks to everyone who offered advice. The tutorials look interesting and I will jump into trying to do them in a day or two.
Tina, I do have photos (weak as they may be) in my gallery. Wonder why they do not show up for you? When I click "My Gallery," they are in there. Is there something else I should do?

I get the same result as Tina when I click on your gallery link - nothing. Just a message telling me that there are no photos.....I even tried going to your profile page & clicking on the link from in there, but still nothing:(

I wonder if you've chosen a main image for your gallery?

I will go into my gallery. If there's no "main image" selected, I'll do that and see it they appear. Thanks for your help.

Don't know if that's what changed it, but I can see your gallery now.
