View Full Version : color removal from portraits

The Grons

I have been shooting portraits and then removing the backgrounds. I use umbrella lighting and just purchased a jade green background but the green seems to tint the subject around the edges of their skin and shoulders.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this green tint either by elements or lighting or photo technique?

Thanks,

John

From what I've read on this subject, you want the background without rinkles and place a strong light at a 45 degree angle on both sides of the background. Foreground light should not overpower the background light. The subject should also stand at least 3 feet away from the background.
