Backup

First of all I am posting this as a New Thread as I can't see how to post as a New Post?

Being new to PSE 5 I have a problem understanding how to incrementally backup. I have previously created my first backup onto 2 DVD/RW successfully. Now when I go to make my second backup I am being asked to select a drive and Elements will assess the write speed and identify a previous backup if one was made. So do I put in a new DVD or do I insert the previous 2 dvds so Elements can identify a previous backup. I tried the latter but didn't get anywhere.
