This is simply to ask if the Clone Stamp Tool circle can be changed into a triangle - just to cite one example of what I would find handy.

Thanks,
Dave

Are you talking about the icon that is displayed with the cursor when you have selected the Clone Stamp Tool?

If so, Photoshop Elements (I have 3.0 version)
Standard Edit
Edit Menu/Preferences/Display & Cursors
There you can change the cursor icon, but "triangle" is not an option.

the clone stamp is essentially a brush - so choose the clonestamp tool, and then you can choose a brush from the options bar.

you can have the clone stamp be any shape you have a brush for - pretty cool

Hi ...

You can even make your own brush if you don't have one the right shape :)

Graticalicus and Wendy, I completely overlooked creating your own brushes and all the possibilities that opens up.

In his recent May 24, 2007 Photoshop Elements Killer Tips episode (Borders and Brushes), Corey Barker showed any interesting application for making your own brush (but not directed at the Clone Stamp Tool). Nonetheless, that should have been fresh in my mind to make my post more helpful, but was not.

Thanks for your suggestions.
