I'm trying to finish the water globe tutorial "A Moment in Time" by Nancy Marti in a recent issue of "Elements" (V4, No. 3).

I downloaded the support files which include some clear bevels. I put the .asl file in the Presets/Styles folder as instructed. Instructions say I should see Layer Styles in the left dropdown of the Special Effects pallette and "Jodi's Clear Bevels 3" should be a choice in the right drop down.

It doesn't show in the right dropdown. I've opened and closed PSE and rebooted my computer. Checked the Preset folder and the file is there in Styles.

Any tips on how to get access to the bevel styles in that file?

I'm having the same problem. I followed the instructions on the tutorial video and found everything ok. Put the file in the folder and I still can't see it. I know I'm doing it right cause I have show hidden files so I could find the program data folder. Any help with this would be great.

Thanks
Chris

Sometimes PSE5 gets "cranky" and you have to hold down SHIFT while the program restarts to get it to rebuild the Styles and such.
