Can't upload saved file

I have darkened the edges of my image, saved it as a jpeg. When I try to locate it in the files to upload, it isn't there. When I open up the catalog, there it is. What is wrong?????????

Yes, I have done this same picture about 20x then did another and the same thing with it. I have flattened the image, I am at a loss. That is why I am here---to call in the experts. I give up

Don't give up. You said you have flattened the image, did you change the dimensions (Ctrl+I) to 72 resolution and the longest side no longer than 700 and then save for the web (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S) and make the image no larger than 500?

No I didn't change the size. I am uploading it to the lab to get it printed. I have never had this problem before. I have never resized the image when I have them printed.

Start with doing a File->Catalog->Recover. Are you copying these to a directory before you upload?

It finally worked. I don't know what was going on with this tonight. Every time I have tried to exit PSE or PE it doesn't respond. I think it must be this crazy computer. Thank you for your help.
