Nice job Linda. Are you starting to make cards or images to sell. This is a perfect image. I have been asked to sell at an open market in July. It will totally depend on what is happening with my chemo - but if I can I will try. Either people like or not. I will soon find out.

Shari and Bill, thank you. We ate at this quaint little cafe while on our trip across Texas this past week. When I walked around and saw the side of the building, I had to pull out the camera and snap a shot. I used the Creating Gallery Prints method outlined in Scott Kelby's Down and Dirty Tricks for Elements 3.0.

Shari, I keep thinking about making note cards for sale, but haven't ventured out in that direction yet.

I admired that in your gallery, too. It is really a terrific image and the gallery presentation is perfect. Do you have a special technique for the b&w conversion?

Thanks Wendy and Julie. Julie, I created a Levels adjustment layer (don't do anything with it to begin with), and on the layer above it I created a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. After desaturizing with this top adjustment layer, I went back to the Levels layer and adjusted the Red, Green, and Blue channels, individually.
