installation troubles

Can someone give step by step instructions for installing the bevel downloads for the newsletter # 4-3. I have watched the tutorial, but still have troubles. Thanks

Hi ...

Do you mean the bevel layers styles ... and I guess that you are using PSE5

You need to out the .asl file here:

C: Documents and Settings>All Users>Application Data>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>5.0>Photo Creations>Special Effects>Layer Styles

However if you have Vista installed then you need this path :

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Photo Creations\Special Effects\Layer Styles

Welcome to the forums.:)

Wendy just meant unzip them. did you hold the shift key down while starting the orgainzer. This forces a rebuild of the Artwork and Effects folder and sometimes you have to do that when adding styles.

I finally found the video, the key was getting out of Elements and then restarting.
