Ok, I'm a newbie here and don't necessarily know the drill. What is IoW? I assume it's a contest and where are the choices that everyone else says are great? Where do I find them at? sorry for not knowing this already.

Ok, I did figure out that IoW is image of the week...but still want to know where to view the choices for the week. I feel really dumb here.

Wow, I was excited to open the gallery earlier today and see my polar bear image there!:):) I think the Orton Effect made him look softer and more cuddly, my husband asked why the image was out of focus!:D Thanks for the comments!

Oh Kim - I laughed at that. I had some of those 'out of focus' comments when I did Juni with the Orton effect. I love your image. It did soften it. Congratulations. And congrats to everyone. Thanks Tami for picking my ducks. I only snapped two photos while walking by and that one seemed perfect with the comment. I do check the gallery because I love everyone's work. I have not had time to post much lately. I have a huge decision to make about my chemo in the next few days. Had a serious reaction to one medication and this second does not look like it will be much better. I may make the decision to take my chances and not take it at all. Boy, life sure gets in the way of my hobby!!! - but I am going out now with a camera that has not had much use lately (and Juni) and try some of the tips I read about on another thread.

Thanks everyone. I didn't mean to turn this into a thread about me. I sometimes get carried away when typing and go on more than I mean. I am scared about making my decision but hopefully the questions we have for the Oncologist tomorrow will make up my mind - and then I can get on with my life. Thanks again for all the prayers.
