A montage of sketches done following the Photo to Sketch in 60 seconds tut by Scott Kelby, from his book Elements 3 book for Digital Photographers. As I use Elements 5, I used the colour variations to add a touch more saturation.

Kev,

Your sketches are wonderful - my favourite is the one with the textured background, the texture seems to add that something that the other three don't have.

The texture lends a nice extra.

I'm pleased you like the sketches. I can assure you that all four have had texture added, it's just that I added a little more to to jaguar.

I agree with the others, the one with the textured background really does jump out at you.

Most effective! I love it, especially the jaguar. I love the markings of some of the smaller 'big cats.' I love the texture, too.
