We visited the Cincinnati Zoo recently and I finally had time to add a few new photos to my gallery (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=21060). I have LOTS more, I think I took over 200 that day! (But I promise I won't bore you with all of them!)

It was "Zoo Babies" time, so we got to see several baby animals.:) The baby rhino was so cute frolicking across the dirt and in the water, I'll add more of him playing later. The polar bears there are my favorite; they're so much fun and always put on a show. I got some new pictures of the baby gorilla that we saw in the fall when he was about a month old. I was surprised that he wasn't much bigger, guess I thought he would grow faster. I'll add those pics later and want to find the ones from the fall for comparison.

Enjoy!:)

Thank you for your comments!

And Michelle, those are Red River Hog babies. Aren't they cute? (I added captions to all of the photos, should have done that to start with!)

I'm a big Polar Bear fan. Notice the paw of a second Polar Bear on the left side of the picture, right by the log. That is a big foot.

I took a photo of a paw when one of the bears was laying down, it is huge! I'll post it this evening.:D

Thanks, Nancy & Winsunn, for your comments!

Nancy, The baby rhino was great fun to watch playing!:)

I took similar shots of the gorilla and elephant on Sunday at Busch Gardens.

Simone, Kim, Bill, & Michelle,

Thanks!

Kim, Glad to see you can find some time to relax with us here--I know you need it! It's important to take care of yourself while taking care of your father.

Kim, did you go in the aviary with the lorikeets? You have to go in there! They hop right on you--several times they hopped right on the end of my camera lens!

I've gone a couple of times first thing in the morning to try to get a good shot of the wolves but no luck yet.

Hi Lorri,

We didn't go into the aviary with the lorikeets this time, but the last time one landed on my back and didn't want to leave! Hubby was a "target" for two birds last time and we were going to have a long day (going to a Brooks & Dunn concert that evening) and he didn't want to deal with that!:D:D

I got a couple shots of the wolves (not great ones) that I haven't posted yet. There were wolf cubs, but we didn't see them. I still want to get out my pictures of the baby gorilla from last time to compare to those from a this visit a few months later, but haven't had time yet.
