For those who don't know, the Solent is a stretch of water between the mainland and the Isle of Wight.

Wow Kev, I am jealous! What a beautiful area you live in, to be near a large body of water like that and be able to see large Yachts floating by. Just gorgeous. I like the photo of the Yacht :)

yes, we live in a pretty nice part of the UK. A 4 minute drive west takes me to Southampton Water, to the east is the New Forest and to the South is the Solent. Lots of scope for nice photos.
