Sketch

I've added my first sketch to the gallery.
I had a photo that was too bright on the faces (my daughter took the photo herself so the flash was very close), try as I might I couldn't darken the faces to look half natural.
Did a little searching and found Diana had posted a link for Creating A Sketch (http://www.graficalicus.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=87&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0)last summer.
I'm quite pleased with the result :D

Thanks Charlotte and Kim, I found the tutorial very easy to follow and the ShanzGradients I downloaded will come in very handy for lots of projects I'm sure :)

My daughter will be here tomorrow, I'm in two minds if I will show show it to her or not :eek:
The sketch has brought back some of her freckles, she liked the original, even though they looked a little washed out..........because she had no freckles!

nice one.
Here's one I did following the tut by Scott Kelby's tut called Photo To Sketch in 60 Seconds flat. Took a little longer but it's so easy. Have included the original photo for comparison.

I like the sketch effect with the dog. Still playing around with a montage using Chelan... You just gave me an idea for adding a sketch to the montage.
