Sharpen filter question

Hi,
I was watching the tutorial on painting effects and was following along in pse5 as I watched. At one point he says to go to filters/sharpen/unsharp mask. Well, in my pse5 there is no sharpen filter available to click on. There is an unsharp mask option under enhance. Is he doing that tutorial with a different version of pse or is there something wrong with my filter settings?

Hi Deb, the painting effect video was done in PSE4. It was posted August 11, 2006. That was before PSE5 came out. You can do it in 5 with the enhance>unsharp mask.

They moved the USM filter in 5 to where you found it. He must have been using a different version. they have also added a new adjust sharpness choice just below that, which I think replaces the sharpen and sharpen more filters.:)
