I just learned how to add the metadata, like my name to the photos as they are downloaded from the camera using PSE5. Is there a way to add the name to photos already in my album?
Thanks:twisted:

Since you posted your question in this Category, I am assuming that you have Photoshop Elements 5.0.
I still have Photoshop Elements 3.0 and this is the way it goes for it....
In Standard Edit, with photo open go to File Menu/File Info. You should find four categories:
IPTC Contact
IPTC Content
IPTC Image
IPTC Status
OR
In Standard Edit, before opening any photos, go to File/Browse Folders to get to the File Info location.
I worked with Photoshop Elements 5.0 many, many months ago and do not remember how closely 5.0 follows 3.0 in this regard...the Browse Folders may not have survived to the 5.0 version????

In PSE5 Editor you do go to >File >File Info, as ATR says. There you find >Description, where you can enter your name in the 'Author' field. Metadata in Organizer will subsequently display your name in the 'Artist' field in EXIF data and in the 'Author' field under IPTC. This is true for a Canon image, possibly different for others.
Please note that the file has to be re-saved in Editor for the entry to be written, which will cause re-compression if going with a JPEG file. No big deal, just worth mentioning.
