the problem I'm having, but I'll try. When zoomed in on an image, if I have to work on the edge, I have to zoom out and then can't see intricately. In 3.0, I didn't have the problem. There was always a margin around the image no matter the amount of zoom. With 5.0 as I zoom in, the image fills the entire work area. Does anyone know what I'm trying to say? If so, what can I do? Thanks so much.

If I understand correctly, try this. Up in the upper right corner of the Elements screen there are a couple icons, one is for Tile All Images. If you click on that, your one image that is open will be in a resizable window with a header at the top. You should be able to size that window by dragging on the corner to make it the size you want and then zooming in shouldn't fill your whole work area. Hope that helps.

Now, if I understand this, you have zoomed in pretty far and only part of the image is visible in the workspace. Hold down the Space Bar and reposition the image within the workspace to display the area, which you want to work on. You can also use >Window >Navigator to do this.

If you're trying to access other parts of the image after you have zoom in just hold down the space bar while at the same time click and drag the image to reposition.
