Janice, nice job. I can think of all sorts of images that would look good in your frame.

This frame started as an experiment (don't they all?)
I was playing with gradients and brushes
I made a gradient - selected pieces of the gradient with the magic wand - used different brushes on different sections
after I made my gradient filled with brushes
Used filter> distort> shear to make curvy lines from that project
Then cut a strip out of the middle
Duplicated it four times - fooled with which direction I wanted the curves to run
Made a frame - using the technique where you use the polygonal lasso tool to miter the corners
Then added a bevel to the frame
Obviously, you can skip the brushes on the gradients (they're not showing up anyway) - go straight to shearing some varied colors and work from there.

Try the gradient/brush technique - the effect is quite cool -
A simple gradient - select different sections - use brushes to fill sections
and this is what you get
