Elements Videos: Please test your connection speed as well!

For those that use our flash online training, and those who are downloading our podcasts, please check your download speeds!

You must have flash installed and working properly to use this speed test, to download the latest flash go here: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=Shockwaveflash

By going here to this website and following these instructions we can better determine who is having downloading issues:

1. Go to http://www.speedtest.net/
2. Click on the yellow triangle that it suggests
3. Wait for the website test your download, and then upload speeds
4. Copy your results by clicking on the "COPY" button under "Forum Link (for most forums)"
5. When you have an issue with the online training, or the podcast, post your issue in the Online Training section (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=17) of the forum, and paste in your connection speed and the issue you're having, so we can all help each other figure out the exact issue

It should look like this, if you copied and pasted your results into your post correctly:

The important part is the DOWNLOAD speed! Mine is 4699 kb/s, and I don't have any issues with the podcast or the online training on the elements site. Obviously if you don't have the latest Quicktime (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/) or Flash (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=Shockwaveflash) plugins, that could be the issue as well.

Please point people to this post when troubleshooting their issues with the videos on the elements site.
