Can someone please explain what is happening? When I log on and go to new posts I get about half a dozen come up. Now I know for sure that this forum has been pretty active whilst I have been asleep, so where are all the new threads? I go to Quick Links>Today's Posts & there a four pages of them....and it says The threads below have not been updated since your last visit or since forums have been marked read. Well I haven't done that so how come they don't show up as new posts? I keep missing out on loads of new threads because of this.

This has always been my problem - no idea why. I am just used to clicking on "Today's Posts" first thing in the morning. Then "New Posts" works for the rest of the day. I think you probably have to log out at night, but it's so much easier doing the above...

Maybe a moderator could listen in and give us a clue?

I usually check to under today posts like Reka does.
Sometimes I also do an advanced search of myself, because I
forget which ones I've repied too and are following more:o

Hi ...

I did wonder if it was when they were doing work on the site and it cleared the info so they all got marked as read ... ??

Well, in my case they must have been working on the site in the daytime...every day. I don't think so...

Me too. It happens every morning when I come back to the site after a night off....not just recently.

Just out of curiousity - do you go directly to the forum? I have found a couple of times when I go through the galleries first, it has happened to me or if I have a PM and read and answer that first.

Karen :)

Hi Karen ...

If you are reading a pm or just browsing a gallery it seems to time you out and all those flags vanish.

So nowadays I read my pms last :)
