I have just loaded several hundred photo files into the Elements 3 Organizer. Some of these came from the flash cards and most of the others were scanned in from slides, negatives and old photos.
Now a problem has arisen and I have no idea why it is happening.
When I highlight or double click on a few of the picture files to enlarge them they enlarge and are immediately covered over with another photo but the date and caption of the original photo stays displayed over the incorrect photo. Most don't do this ........only a few do.
I also noticed this happening during a slide show using the Photo Review icon. One or two of the pictures that are supposed to be in the slide show don't even show up but are instead replaced by another picture that I didn't even highlight. Again the caption of the photo I wanted is visible over the incorrect picture. Again most don't have this problem and display properly.
I have then found these other displayed photos to see if I made an error in dating or tagging them that would cause them to pop up like that. They had their own data that was totally different. Why are they popping up?
This problem seems to have arisen as the number of files has increased. It was not there when I had fewer files in the organizer. Can you tell me how to correct this problem? Thanks .......Quag
