Wendy's 30,000

Wendy will be hitting the 30,000 mark pretty soon. I wondered if anyone was taking guesses as to when that was going to happen -- and who was coordinating the celebration?

I'm guessing she will hit it on June 18th (her time zone).

Many of us can remember the day she hit 10,000. That seemed like such a huge milestone (and would be for any one of us mere mortals). Wouldn't it be grand if we could all celebrate how much Wendy helps us by creating some kind of "card" for her in honor of her "30th"?!? Who's with me?

Well, I did. It looks like an average of 56.95 posts a day, or about 9 more days! That would make it OUR anniversary (June 14th) but about 3 days too early to suit me!

It doesn't work. Too many variables. I tried the mathematical route for 10,000 and was way out. Either Wendy has a spurt & types more posts than average....or she goes & gets ill and doesn't post as many! My estimated date has been and gone as I didn't reckon the illness factor into the equation. Sticking a pin into a calendar whilst blindfolded is probably more accurate.:D

My dear friend Wendy -- You post as you see fit and let the milestone be just as genuine as you are. We are just happy to have you helping us and being our friend, and excited to be celebrating your accomplishments. I can still remember the first time I received a positive comment from you - I felt like I had achieved nirvana or something. Those of us who have been around for awhile can probably even tell the difference between a kind word of encouragement and a genuine full-out praise from Wendy. The difference is subtle, but there. Did you ever think you'd have that kind of an impression or impact on people? :cool:

We are all counting down to 30,000 with you, but we also know it will be done with your usual style - helping someone figure out how to do something and making them feel comfortable asking the question.

Not sure if that means you have to visit the particular thread the email was generated from or not before you will get any more notifications.
