For some reason, in our morning announcemnts at school, the day's weather forcast is given by whichever student is the announcer for that day.

This morning we were informed that we could look forward to party sunny skies, around 65 degrees, with "zero chance of participation."

The weather people nailed that one today... :D

I was certainly celebrating zero participation yesterday!! I don't know if I'll be as lucky today.

That's funny! Don't let them know too much about the humor in that because the next thing that will happen is they will be trying to see who can outdo that with a better one-liner. Then you'll end up with teachers who accidentally can't spell because their minds are on "party" clouds. I know you better than that Mike. Funny nonetheless.

Hey... Swan Lake performance this weekend at the Bremerton Performing Arts Center. I'll be the proud dad watching my daughter dance and listening to my wife play in the orchestra, sitting somewhere in the center of the auditorium.

Thanks for sharing that one Mike. That is great.
As teachers, I think we could write a book or 2 on the things the kids come up with.

Mike - that is so cute. Reminds me of my little sis when we were singing Christmas carols years ago. Walking in a winter wonderland - we'll perspire by the fire --- she has never lived that down.

Going in for another colonoscopy Tuesday. I have a different doctor now who wants to take a little peek. Oh joy! Still in pain. We thinks it is Crohns, which is treatable and not a big issue. My other doc figured out what was causing the kidney stones and has me on meds for that. So... maybe soon I'll be without pain.

I went and watched a semi-dress rehearsal last night of Swan Lake. It was more of a staging walk through (first time in the auditorium where it will be performed). Tonight is with live music (with the orchestra my wife is in). I'll probably start taking pictures tonight, although I don't know if they will have makeup on - just costumes. My daughter has a few different roles she plays throughout the production, so she is on stage nearly the entire show. I hope 2.5 gig of memory and two batteries is enough. :D There are times (when all the swans are on stage) when it's just beautiful.

Oh Norm - the worst thing about the colonoscopy is Monday -the day before when you have to drink that stuff. Plan on a day at the computer but make sure the computer is next to or in the bathroom!!
I just got back from the Cardiologist. He said not to take the drug I was on for chemo. A few people have the reactions I did and it could be very serious. Unfortunately I was one of them. I really do not know what is next but I plan to enjoy these sunny days because I can go out in the sun not being on the medication. All these medical problems with getting older. I have to remember a saying of Kirk Douglas that we had on our fridge for ages - Do not complain about getting old - some people are not so lucky!
