I found this scrool brush and was wondering how I would conform the text box/layer to the scrowl? I played with the shere filter, but is there an easier way?

Hi ...
There isn't an easy way in Elements to do this ... I have had the best results using the Shear tool :)

Can you re-type the text to fit in the scroll?

This is Elements, anything is possible. Depends how much time you want to devote to it. I would start by putting the scroll on it's own layer, and fill it with the background color of your text. Then I would put each line of text on it's own layer. Most lines would be on flat parts of the scroll, so no real problems there. For the top and bottom, try creating a 3-d tube and add the text to it. Warped text is also something you could play around with, as well as adding a drop shadow to text lines which will simulated a curved look.
Good luck
