I have PSE5 .. it does not do CMYK ... Does anyone have any ideas on how I would convert my images to CMYK without having to spend an arm and a leg? Can this be done somewhere else?

Help!

It can be done - Richard Lynch's Hidden Power Tools has a method although it does get pretty complicated and you have to use a workaround for saving the file as Elements doesn't support saving in CYMK. If it's just for a one off then it might be easier to get someone with Photoshop to do the conversion for you.

Thanks Tony. Is it as simple as sending the files to someone to convert in Photoshop and they send it back to me?

Looks like it to me - I just did one in CS2. It suggests flattening the layers first for better color.

PSE4 could not re-open it after I re-saved it.

FWIW - I know NOTHING about who/what/why of CYMK color.

Thanks Paul!

I may d/l the trial of cs2. I did just buy a Canon so maybe I can take advantage of the deal?
