Hi!
I don't own the heavy Photoshop where you have vector paths, but still I would like to do a slightly s-shaped bar to have beneath a text shaped with the "warped text" tool. Is there a trick to do it? I tried to just type an underline and then warp it, but it's so thin. I would have to copy it at least 20 times and put them at each other's sides.
I also need to have a very stable curve, it's nothing I can do with the freehand tools. :)
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Draw your line on a new layer.

Then goto Filters > Distort > Shear.

In the pop up window you'll see a small graph with your line in it. You can click on the line at various points to place a handle which you can then move to produce the curve you need.

Hope this helps

Two things, 1. is this the place to ask?---2. Is there a tut. using this technique in some instruction? BillandCat

Bill

If you are talking about the shear filter, there is a written tutorial by Wendy in the Subscriber area showing how to use it.

I tried the features under "distort". Did miracles! Big thanks!
