I have just noticed something strange. You know how if you have a Wacom pen & tablet connected then in PSE the pictures in the brush selector look tapered at each end rather than blunt/round ended? Well mine have just switched back to being round ended despite the fact that I'm using the Wacom. Has this happened to anyone else & why has it happened & how do I get it back to how it was?

Bayla,

Probably you have turned off "Size" as one of the properties controlled by tablet pressure. Just access Tablet Options and check for that.

Byron,

No it isn't that. But I just went to Settings>Control Panel>Wacom Tablet Properties & a box popped up saying ' THE TABLET DRIVER WAS NOT FOUND'! Yet my tablet is working. Do you think maybe I should reinstall it?

Bayla,

I don't know how often you reboot your system, but if it has been a while, I would begin with that.

It should not be too traumatic to reinstall the Wacom drivers, if a reboot does nothing positive.

Byron,

Thanks:)

I suddenly noticed that although I could use the pen itself, none of the express keys were working:eek: (I'm using an Intuos) so I did as you suggested & did a reboot of the computer & now everything is restored.

Bayla,

I'm happy to learn that it was a simple fix!

My tablet will periodically quit. A re-boot does the trick.

I have found sometimes I need to reinstall the tablet to get it working again.

Rob,

Why??

Bayla

I read quite a few reviews on other forums & photo sites about problems with the tablet when downloaded with the disc such as "dead spots" & having to reboot the computer. I'll try to get a link but apparently the driver on the site is updated often. I'll try to get more info but I remember reading about this procedure quite a few times.

Rob,

I have read that somewhere too. I have a driver downloaded and even if I could find it, I never use the disc that came the driver originally.
