Having a bit more time, I was thinking of perhaps participating in the creative homework and themes (in that separate forum). They look fun and great for learning. Can anyone join in at any time, and if so, is it best to start with, for example, creative homework #1 and work up? (or jump in anywhere, or...)? Sorry for the dumb question..... :)

Hi Simone- You can jump in anywhere/anytime! I would start with the current challenges and participate, but feel free to work your way through the old homework and post the results. The most important rules are to have fun and learn!

Simone -come on down and just jump in any where!
The creative homework has lots of good techniques to use so try out all you can. I especially like the photo theme as it does get me using my camera more, since this weeks theme is something missing it must mean you:)

Simone,
I agree with Kay. Start with present one and work others as you can. They are not specifically dependant on previous ones and generally are not difficult, just neat things to learn and to stimulate the creative juices. Kimi has done very well setting them up.

Simone,
Note that there is a time limit of one week for the Photo Theme Assignment. A theme is put up each week and photos have to be taken during that week & posted. Sometimes I just don't manage to find a suitable image in time!
For the Creative Homework you can jump in anywhere and then go back or forward, makes no difference how long ago the threads were posted.....there's still some that I haven't done!
Come on round & join the fun:)

Just be aware, Simone,
Kimi will probably grade you down for joining tardy :D

PS - yes, please do come on in and play. They are both excellent and, if you can't find something missing to photograph, no harm - no foul. Catch it next week.

Rusty, shame on you. I am a kind and understanding teacher. Now go clean the easer's. :p
Simone, I hope we see you in some of our classes. Tony was kind enough to post a link to all of the old assignments somewhere. I will have to look for it.
Just jump in anywhere. :D
There is also Grant's Challenge.

Kim....
Michelle is so far behind in her homework, we are going to have to hold her back a grade.

Thanks so much for the replies which were so welcoming! Sounds good -- informal and for fun and learning. I'll start jumping in; hopefully with this week's theme of something missing... :)
