You usually get yours first in the Modesto area. I'm in Turlock. I finally got mine first! There are some great articles! I'm going to try out Terry N(oonon)s spin. I'm looking through my 20,000 photos to see if I can find some to practice Nancy Marti's trick! There is a lot of things to try out. I think I can use the dramatic lighting.

Well, I called customer service and they are sending out a second copy (for my friend in Concord as well). They say that they were mailed on May 7, but I guess the guy that was hand carrying them here got tired somewhere in New Mexico. We will see how long it takes this copy to get here.

Its normally around 8 weeks before you get the first issue ... so its going to be a while before the first one drops through your door. In the meantime you will have time to explore the subscriber area :)

I subscribed on the 17th and received the "Portrait Retouching with Photoshop Elements DVD" on the 23rd. Considering it came into Canada I was amazed at the speed. One thing I found peculiar though was the very large packaging considering it was just a DVD, and the fact that they didn't include the first edition of the newsletter to save on shipping. When I saw the large package I assumed both would be in there. Do the magazine and the DVD not come from the same place? If so, why not ship them together? Please know this is not a complaint, I am just puzzled.

My first issue (4.3) arrived today - just over two weeks from first subscribing for the international version. In the A4 envelope was the 4.3 issue and also the 2006 Bonus Issue. Very pleased!

As I understand it, the newsletter is shipped from the printer to a bulk mailing depot/company then out to you, while I believe the DVD is shipped from the KW media location.:confused:

I got my replacement yesterday at last. After we get back late next week from my daughter's wedding I'll give some of it a swirl. We're going to be in the South Bay area (Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Watsonville, Santa Cruz, San Jose, and will most likely get up into SF itself. Maybe go down to Monterey to the aquarium. The wedding is in a Tibetan retreat center in the mountains over Santa Cruz.

I am surprised Jason said it would take him a week to send it out! That seems a bit long to me.

A couple of days ago, I got another copy of Volume 4 number 3, and a copy of the 2006 Bonus addition on PSE5. I am assuming I got these because I renewed my membership. I do not need these as I already have both copies. I wish I knew someone in town that could use them but I know of no one that uses Elements. I am sure there are many people in the area that at least OWN Elements as it is of course sold in the local stores.

If anyone could use these copies, I would be happy to mail them to you.
Sorry I will consider only USA deliveries.

Looks like I over reacted when I said I was concerned that I hadn't received my 4.3 issue. When I rechecked the ones I do have, lo and behold, there it was. I have had it for a very long time so I didn't realize that was the issue you were all talking about. :o Customer Service did say that they had just mailed out the 4.4 last week so that one should be here shortly. :):)
